Understanding Claim Issues & How to Fix Them

Sometimes there may be an issue with your unemployment claim. This page explains common issues, what they mean, and what you do next. Fixing issues quickly can help avoid delays in your payments.

DUA Continuing EligibilityDuring a disaster event, you stopped filing weekly claims, so DES reopened your claim. Now we need to check if you still qualify. Go to the “Issues Delaying Payment” section of your MyNCUIBenefits account, then click the link(s) to provide additional information. You will need to upload proof of the change.

Claim Withdraw
